Women’s Habitat offers supporting and recreational programing for girls ages 11 to 18. Our after school and camp programs offer girls the opportunity to make positive social connections and learn about issues that effect them, including creating healthy boundaries, body image, family conflict and building their self-esteem.
Girlz Space offers young women in grades 6-8 the opportunity to interact with other girls from South Etobicoke. The program offers a wide range of activities from Girl Talk, Jazzercise, Homework Help to Literacy Through Drama. Girls will develop stronger relationships to their home, school and community after completing the program. Girlz Space is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Outreach Centre at 140 Islington Avenue. Extended hours of operation are available during Professional Development days, March and Summer Break.

Girlfriends Teen Drop-In
Young women ages 14 to 18 are invited to 140 Islington Avenue to make new friends, have fun and talk about issue that mater to them. Healthy snack provided. Girlfriends Teen Drop-In is offered every Thursday from 3:30pm-6pm. New participants are always welcome.

Girlz Space Camp
Girlz Space Camp is an extension of the Girlz Space After-School Program and offers fun activities in a supportive, learning atmosphere. Girls are given the opportunity to visit historic sites, amusement parks and museums. This camp focuses on life skills development and career exploration. Participants leave the camp inspired and confident.
