b'I was one of the moms that was at Womens Habitat when the pandemic first hit. It was really stressfulnot knowing what tomorrow will bringdue to the virus. Not only was I going through personal issues, but now I had to worry about my health and my childrens health. I started developing anxiety because of the pandemic and being isolated from everyone including some of my close friends. My anxiety got so bad that I had to be on medication. But thank God, with lots of support from people like the overnight staff at Womens Habitat thatI got the support I needed . Although a lot has happened since the pandemic started, I would have to say with a lot of support and counselling from the counsellors, I have learned a lot about myself including how strong of a woman I am, and for thatIm very thankful. - WHE Shelter Ex Resident -| 21'
