Shelter and Outreach for Women
At Women’s Habitat, our Outreach Centre is closed on statutory holidays and select holiday closures. On these dates, outreach programming, groups, appointments, and donation drop-offs will not be available.
Our Emergency Shelter remains open 24/7, including on holidays, to support women and children in need of safety.
When the Outreach Centre is closed for a holiday:

Ontario recognizes these as public holidays under the Employment Standards Act
We encourage community members, donors, and participants to plan ahead around holiday closures. Donation drop-offs and program participation can resume once the Outreach Centre reopens on the next business day.
Please note: All donations must be scheduled in advance. We kindly ask that you book an appointment to drop off donations during our regular Outreach Centre hours.
