GIRLS
Women’s Habitat offers supporting and recreational programing for girls ages 11 to 18. Our after school and camp programs offer girls the opportunity to make positive social connections and learn about issues that effect them, including creating healthy boundaries, body image, family conflict and building their self-esteem.
Girlz Space Afterschool Program
Girlz Space afterschool program offers girls in grades 6-8 the opportunity to interact with other girls from South Etobicoke. The program runs throughout the school year and takes place on Monday’s and Friday’s. We offer a wide range of activities that boost confidence, decreases isolation, promotes wellness, skill building and connection. Girls will develop stronger relationships to their home, school and community .

Girlz Space Passport to summer Camp is an extension of the Girlz Space After-School Program and offers fun activities in a supportive, learning atmosphere. Through a variety of activities and outings in the community, girls are given the opportunities to develop life skills and career exploration . Participants leave the camp inspired and confident.
Girlfriends
Girlfriends – A violence prevention program for female identified youth ages 14 to 18. This program runs throughout the school year. Its a space for youth to have fun, increase connection with others and decrease isolation; reflect on their own identities, build healthy relationships, talk about issues affecting their lives and explore options for their future. Healthy snacks are provided.

CHILDREN
Tweens Program
This is a program for children in the age range of 9 to 12 years and is aimed towards building their confidence, self-esteem and social skills. It is a wonderful opportunity for the tweens to connect with each other, make new friends, have fun and talk about issues affecting their life. Healthy snacks are provided. The program runs every Thursday from 4:30 – 5:30 pm and requires registration. New participants are always welcome.

YOUTH
YOUNG MEN
Reel Real Men
We are proud to announce our first-ever male facilitated virtual program called ReelReal Men. This 10-week program will engage male-identified youth ages 14-18 cross the GTA in a conversation about gender and social norms that contribute to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and focuses on building healthy masculinity and relationships. The program aims to promote a safe space for youth to build a brotherhood, share their perspectives on manhood, build confidence and support development of critical skills.
