Our deepest condolences of the passing of Deputy Mayor Pam McConnell

We are deeply saddened by the news of Deputy Mayor Pam McConnell’s passing. Pam was a passionate social justice advocate who dedicated much of her time in City Hall to bettering the lives of all residents of Toronto, including women and their children. We had the privilege of working with her on the City’s Poverty Reduction Strategy, where we witnessed her commitment to creating policy that was equitable and shaped by those with lived experience. On behalf of the Board and Staff at Women’s Habitat of Etobicoke we offer our deepest condolence’s to Pam’s family and thank her for her tireless  efforts to creating a more fair and prosperous city for all of  us.  She will be greatly missed.
