Shelter and Outreach for Women
Every bid helps women and children rebuild their lives after violence.
When a woman leaves an abusive situation, she often leaves with nothing — no savings, no belongings, and no sense of safety. Your participation in the Spring Auction directly supports emergency shelter, counselling, safety planning, and long-term stability.
This isn’t just an auction.
It’s a second chance.
Every dollar raised stays in our community and supports women and children in Etobicoke and surrounding areas as they rebuild with dignity, safety, and hope.
The Sustainable Futures Program helps survivors turn their skills into income, building pathways to financial independence and long-term safety. Your support restores choice, confidence, and control over their future.
The Boys Program supports children exposed to violence by helping them build emotional awareness, healthy relationship skills, and positive coping tools. Your support helps break cycles of violence and build safer futures.
For many survivors, safe housing is the biggest barrier to leaving abuse. Your donation provides urgent support for rent and housing stability—often the difference between staying safe and going back.
Last year, a mother and her two children arrived at Women’s Habitat with only a small backpack. Through community support, she received counselling, housing advocacy, and employment support. Today, she is living independently, her children are thriving in school, and she describes the shelter as “the first place I felt safe in years.”
Your bid helps create stories like this.
